Nikki Hardaker - Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust

Nikki is the Executive Academy Business Leader at Bradford Diocesan Academies
Trust.  They decided to recruit two apprentices to enhance their admin and finance team in the busy school office to undertake the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 and Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeships. The apprenticeship route offered a way for new members of staff to receive both practical experience and theoretical training.

She says "The apprentices we’ve recruited through Skills for Works have all been of a very high standard. They have each brought additional skills to the team from their different backgrounds and experiences. As they are often younger than the rest of the team, they often have a high standard of IT fluency which is really helpful in our office environment.

"I would highly recommend Skills for Work without hesitation. In our experience, they consistently provide the same assessors throughout the apprenticeship. The assessors are experienced and
extremely knowledgeable about their field of work and I believe this is a critical factor in supporting the apprentices well. They have excellent systems in place for recruitment, support and
communication and they try to keep the administrative responsibilities of the employer to a minimum".
