Gemma Noble - CBMDC
Following an invitation from her manager to take part in further training, Gemma has recently completed a Public Service Operational Delivery Officer Level 3 apprenticeship with Bradford Council through Skills for Work.
Through a mix of in-person and online learning, Gemma studied subjects such as project management and time management skills, along with maths and English at Level 2, and achieved distinctions.
The apprenticeship saw Gemma improve in confidence and self-believe and she knows that this has improved her career prospects. "If another member of staff wants to do an apprenticeship, I would advise them to go for it as they would surprise themselves!". She also said that the Skills for Work staff are very helpful and friendly.
