Skills Bootcamp: Teaching Assistant      Duration: 80 hours

Our funded Skills Bootcamp for Teaching Assistant will provide you with the skills you need for Teaching Assistant in educational settings. We also guarantee we'll help you to get an interview for a job as a teaching assistant on completion of the course.

What you'll learn:

Skills Bootcamp in Teaching Assistant Skills is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to enter teaching assistant-related roles in educational and non-educational environments. Delivery content will include:

• Safeguarding and Prevent,
• Special Educational Needs,
• Child Development, 
• Equality Diversity, Inclusion,
• Communication and Professional Relationships with children, young people and adults; 
• Schools as Organisations

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses, for people looking for a new role or job opportunity. If you claim Universal Credit, you can apply and continue to claim benefits.

Eligibility: 

You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:

• Are aged 19 years or over
• have the right to work in the UK, - live in England and meet residency requirements (we can check this)
• are unemployed and actively seeking work
• and are willing to commit to 80 GLH (Guided Learning Hours)
• Have competent English language to minimum Level One
