Team Leading     Level: 2     Duration: 150 hours

This level 2 course is designed for new and aspiring team leaders, giving an in-depth introduction to the role and responsibilities. It can:

• Develop your knowledge on the principles of team leading and how a business operates
• Develop key skills needed to be a successful team leader and communicate with a
  range of stakeholders
• Work with individuals or employers looking to upskill your team to enable staff to
  progress into management position

The qualification consists of three mandatory units covering the core skills needed to lead a team. Learners look at how to plan, allocate and monitor work; plus gain tools and techniques to develop as a leader and get the most from their team. Then learners complete the Certificate with optional units which cover everything from communication skills to business improvement techniques.
