Listening, improving and supporting success across Bradford
Skills for Work is celebrating another successful year of learner and employer feedback, with annual evaluation results demonstrating consistently high levels of satisfaction across its adult learning, apprenticeship and employer engagement provision. Skills for Work provides training, apprenticeships, workplace skills development and careers support for individuals and employers across the Bradford District and wider West Yorkshire region.
The latest annual evaluation found that 90.5% of adult learners, 89.9% of apprentices and 91.8% of employers were satisfied with the service they received. These results reflect the positive impact of Skills for Work's commitment to delivering high-quality training, personalised support and opportunities for progression.
As part of Bradford Council, Skills for Work supports local residents to gain the skills, qualifications and confidence needed to access employment, progress in their careers or continue into further learning. The service also works closely with employers to identify workforce development needs and deliver tailored training solutions that support business growth.
The evaluation highlighted positive feedback relating to the quality of teaching and learning, the support provided by staff and the overall learner experience. Employers also recognised the value of Skills for Work's apprenticeship and workforce development provision, which helps organisations invest in and develop their employees.
Customer feedback remains central to the way Skills for Work operates. Through its ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, feedback from learners, apprentices and employers is regularly reviewed and used to shape services, ensuring provision remains responsive to the needs of local people, communities and businesses. Approaches such as "You Said, We Did" are widely used across the further education sector to demonstrate how feedback drives meaningful improvements.
