Green Skills

‘Green skills’ is a term used for the knowledge, behaviours, capabilities and technical skills required to tackle the environmental challenges we face and to unlock new opportunities for growth. Green skills can lead to reduced energy costs, waste management savings, and improved efficiency. Skills for Work is delivering a series of courses and qualifications for learners and managers.

These courses will provide you with an understanding of the knowledge, abilities, values and attitudes needed to live in, develop and support a society which reduces the impact of human activity on the environment. Most of these courses have 10-20 guided learning hours and can be delivered at Britannia House or studied at your own pace, distance learning with a final assessment at Britannia House.
